A hailstorm that blew through Norman early Easter Sunday cracked windows, pockmarked siding and dented cars, with most of the damage on the city's southwest side. National Weather Service officials said the largest hailstones in the southwest part of town measured about 2 inches in diameter. Marble-size hail fell throughout the city. The storm began about 3:45 a.m. and traveled in a northwest to southeast direction, moving into the Noble area about 4:25 a.m., weather officials said.
